How To Buy

The best place to buy Sig products is through your local hobby retailer. We have thousands of dealers located throughout the world offering our superior products at an outstanding value.

You can find a Sig Authorized Hobby Dealer by clicking on the "Our Dealers" tab at the top of the screen.


USA Dealers can be located by selecting and listing the dealers within a State. 	International Distributors and Dealers can be located by selecting and listing the distributors and dealers within a country.

We also realize that some modelers do not have a hobby shop close by. For this reason we are making our products available direct from the factory. If you are unable to buy our product locally then we will be glad to sell them directly to you.

How To Pay

We accept the following credit cards on our secure server:

Visa, Master Card, and Discover

There is no surcharge added for credit card use.


Shipping & Handling

Orders placed directly to Sig receive our prompt attention.

Domestic orders ( within the United States) are usually shipped within 24 hours.

International orders usually ship within 48 hours.

Domestic orders are shipped via the most economical means. We ship via UPS, Federal Express, U.S. Postal Service and various common carriers for large orders. Unless you specify a preferred carrier, we will ship the most economical carrier.

Basic postage/handling fees for customer direct orders are as follows:

U.S. Ground Shipments


Added to all orders.



Discounted to at the time of invoicing for orders $150.00 and over.


Some large box items will incur a shipping surcharge for USA which is not included in the free shipment policy above. The value of this is noted on the order and will be added to the order total at the time of invoicing.

International Shipments


Handling charge plus actual shipping charges added at the time of invoicing.



Standard shipping policy applies.

Expedited delivery service is available on all orders but an additional charge will be made for this and it will not be discounted.

 Please Note:

Certain products such as paint, some adhesives, and glow fuel are considered hazardous materials by our carriers.

* For domestic shipments we are unable to send paint, adhesives, glow fuel and other products deemed ORM-D or flammable via USPS Parcel Post or Airmail. Orders containing these items must be shipped via UPS (United Parcel Service). A "hazmat fee" of $30.00 is charged by UPS for any package containing gallon size containers of these hazardous materials. The hazmat fee will be added to your shipping costs.

* For international shipments we are unable to send paint, adhesives, glow fuel and other products deemed ORM-D or flammable by any carrier.


Damage, Defects, Returns and Refunds:Complaint Adjustment Policy

Every Sig product undergoes a rigorous quality inspection program before it leaves the factory. Our order packers have years of experience, packing boxes for shipment to you. While problems are rare, they occur. Should you receive a shipment less than perfect, please follow one of the following procedures:


Defective/Missing Parts

1...Determine which part is missing or defective. In our airplane kits, there is an inspection ticket with the name of the person who packed the item.

 2...Call or email Sig with the name of the product, the name (or number) of the missing part, your customer and invoice number (as found on your invoice), and if applicable the information from the inspection ticket.

3...The product must have been purchased from Sig or one of our dealers. Sorry, Sig cannot be responsible for product bought from individuals, swap shops or auctions.

  Note: Sig may require that the defective product be returned for replacement and proof of purchase in the form of receipt or invoice will be required.


Product Damaged in Transit

1... Notate on the shipping company's log the nature of the damage.

2... Obtain the name of the person making the delivery along with their notation as to the damage.

3... Call or email Sig with this information along with your customer and invoice number as found on the invoice.

4... We shall endeavour to assist you in making a claim for this product.


If You Need To Return Something to Sig

  No adjustments will be made after a 45 day period.

1... Merchandise cannot be returned or credited without authorization from us. Please contact SIG for authorization before returning merchandise so that we may issue a Return of Merchandise Authorization (RMA). No returns will be accepted without an RMA. Clearly state your exact reason for wanting to return the item.

2... Returns should be well packed and insured against damage. Outgoing postage (from you to SIG) will not be refunded.

3... In general, to be accepted, merchandise must be unused and undamaged, including packaging.

4... We will replace any SIG brand items found to be missing or defective due to factory error.

5... When reporting problems please state the name of the SIG dealer from whom the product was purchased, or whether it was bought from the SIG website. No credit will be given for second-hand SIG merchandise purchased from another private individual.

6... In accepting delivery of boxes sent from SIG which have been damaged in transit, be sure and get the signature of the delivery person on the delivery forms certifying that the shipment arrived damaged. Notify us at once with specific details of the damage.

All claims for missing or defective parts, damages or returns must be made within 45 days of the invoice date. Returns from hobby dealers are subject to a restocking charge.

Please Note:

Certain items such as radio control systems, model airplane engines and other electrical devises are covered by a separate manufacturer's warrenty. Items covered in this manner may not be returned to Sig for any reason.


Product Limit of Liability

SIG Mfg. Co., Inc.'s only obligation shall be to replace such quantity of product proven to be defective. User shall determine the suitability of the product for his or her intended use and shall assume all risk and liability in the connection therewith.

SIG Mfg. Co., Inc. product Warranties are the responsibility of the respective manufacturers. Warranty claims for third party products must be handled with the manufacturer. This includes Himax and Castle Creations products. It is solely up to the manufacturer to determine the warranty coverage. Should one of these items prove to be defective, it should be returned directly to the manufacturer for service under their agreement.
